Beer Yellow Pages exists to connect beer lovers with great breweries, taprooms, and beer businesses around the world. We're a neutral, apolitical, family-friendly platform. To keep it that way, all content submitted to our directory — descriptions, photos, business names, and links — must comply with this policy. Violations are taken seriously and may result in content removal, listing suspension, or account termination.
Prohibited Content
The following content types are strictly not allowed on Beer Yellow Pages.
Political & Partisan Content
- Political endorsements — Supporting or opposing any political party, candidate, or elected official
- Partisan messaging — Content aligned with any political ideology, movement, or agenda
- Election-related content — Voting drives, campaign promotions, or electoral commentary
- Political symbols or imagery — Flags, logos, slogans, or imagery associated with political groups
- Policy advocacy — Promoting or opposing specific legislation, government policies, or political causes
Beer Yellow Pages is a neutral, apolitical platform. We serve the entire beer community regardless of political affiliation. Political content of any kind — left, right, or center — is not permitted.
Explicit & Adult Content
- Nudity or sexual content — Any explicit, nude, or sexually suggestive imagery or language
- Adult-only material — Content not appropriate for general audiences including minors
- Suggestive descriptions — Innuendo or double-entendres of a sexual nature in business descriptions
All content on Beer Yellow Pages must be G-rated and appropriate for all audiences, including minors.
Hate Speech & Discrimination
- Hate speech — Content that demeans, threatens, or attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Discriminatory language — Slurs, derogatory terms, or language that marginalizes any group
- Extremist content — Content promoting extremist ideologies, terrorist organizations, or hate groups
Violence & Graphic Content
- Violent imagery — Photos or descriptions depicting violence, injury, or graphic harm
- Threatening language — Content that threatens, intimidates, or harasses individuals or groups
- Dangerous activities — Promotion of illegal or dangerous activities
Misleading & Fraudulent Content
- False information — Inaccurate business details, fabricated reviews, or misleading claims
- Impersonation — Pretending to be another business, brand, or individual
- Spam — Repetitive, irrelevant, or promotional content unrelated to your business
- Copyright infringement — Using photos, logos, or text you do not own or have rights to

Great content that showcases your business authentically.
How We Enforce This Policy
What happens when a violation is identified.
Content Flagged
Our team identifies content that may violate this policy, either through automated scanning or manual review.
Owner Notified
You receive an email explaining exactly what was flagged, why it violates policy, and what action has been taken.
Action Taken
Depending on severity: content is removed, you're asked to edit it, or your listing may be suspended pending resolution.
Appeal Available
In most cases you may appeal the decision by contacting us. We review all appeals within 2 business days.

Report a Violation
